You’ve Been “B”ee-ed
With any luck we got to meet you in person, but if not we hope you enjoy this little gift from your fellow Winnebago Travato (23GL) owners, Tom and Christine! It was originally designed to be a trash can to be hung from the gear shift, but can be used in a number of different places in the coach for just about anything you want; the “B”ee motif is a nod to the Travato being a Class B RV. We line the inside of ours with a grocery store produce bag, so we never have to worry about washing it no matter what snack refuse Tom stuffs in there while driving 😉.
If you’d like to read more about us and our adventures, our main blog can be found at https://tncsadventuresinthet42.blogspot.com. Our “grandest adventure” yet - an 11 month journey that eventually came to be known as the “East of the Rockies Trek” - starts on April 03, 2024 so that’s a popular post to find and start reading forward from (full disclosure: we’re still in the process of back-filling posts from that trip, as we fell very behind along the way). If you want to read about the origins of the original “B”ee bag, you can skip directly to the Michigan, Part 5 - Sault Ste. Marie [240613], Michigan, Part 6 - Shipwrecks and Endangered Birds [240614], and Minnesota, Part 5 - Grand Portage [240623] posts to find the story. (Don’t worry - Christine made yours with her sewing machine at home, so you aren’t being subjected to Tom’s questionable hand-sewing skills 😜.)
Lastly: if you’re not members already, we highly recommend joining the Travato Owners and Wannabees Facebook group https://m.facebook.com/groups/travatoowners. We joined a year before buying our Travato, and have found the group to be a great source of general advice, help when things go wrong, suggestions for interesting mods, travel tips, etc.
Happy travels!
It was great to meet you both at the Ely Love’s travel center! Your B-bag is now our banana holder as it is the perfect depth so that they don’t fall out! And thx for the heads up on GBNP closures. We will head elsewhere.
