Special Edition 1 - It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like... [241116-21]

Well, it seems we've fallen behind on even putting out the "where we really are now" trailers in a timely fashion.  But recent events have inspired us to at least push out a "Special Edition" update today, Nov. 23, from the camp store in Great Smoky Mountains National Park (which happens to be one of two places in the park with WiFi).  Enjoy!

We were pleasantly surprised to find that despite all the hype/warnings about heavy traffic being expected, the drive from Early to Lampasas took under an hour and a half.  We had finally arrived at our "first destination" in one piece! For those that don't know, our reason for making Lampasas the first scheduled destination on our Trek was an eclipse-viewing meet-up arranged through the Travato Owners and Wannabees (TOWB) Facebook Group that we (Christine) are members of.  Forty-one Travatos (carrying 70-ish people and 30-ish pets) were scheduled to attend. (The meet-up logo was designed by our talented organizer, Marilyn.)

Trailer 1 - "Niagara Falls, and Dumpster Diving in Canada [240805-07]"

It's come to our attention that our being so behind in keeping the blog up to date (it's really August 8 today) is making it hard for those of you who are trying to keep up to date on our travels to do so.  While there's no way to "catch up" the blog any time soon, we thought we'd try to mitigate this shortcoming by producing movie-style trailers, covering our more recent adventures.  Here's our first attempt, with highlights from the past 3 days (it doesn't get any more current than that! 🙂).
